Sturges celebrates 100th Anniversary |
In February of 2009, Sturges Manufacturing Company reached a milestone of 100 years in business. Originally founded as the Utica Suspender Company, Sturges has evolved into an award winning facility producing engineered webbings and straps per customer specifications. Specializing in products for fire fighting, fall protection, automotive, military and original equipment manufacturers, the company recorded record sales in 2008. “While we have been in business a long time, we certainly don’t want to rest on our laurels. We understand to be competitive in today’s world marketplace, we must be tremendously agile while holding true to our foundation of offering outstanding quality, value and customer service” reports Richard Griffith, President.
