In spite of all the negative news about the economy, Sturges employees came through once again by recognizing the need is even greater this year. Employee giving increased over 13% over 2007 in what is now the second year the company participated as a Pacesetter in the United Way campaign. “Part of our mission is ‘To operate as a caring and responsible member of the community’ and we are proud that our employees clearly embrace this concept” reports Mylissa Deetz, Human Resources Director.
